My name is Rida, and I live in Gaza with my family of 7. Life was already hard before the war, but since the most recent escalation, simply staying alive has become a daily battle.
We lost our eldest son, Anas, a 22-year-old young man full of dreams and hope. He was killed in a sudden airstrike. His death shattered our hearts and left behind a deep void—not only emotionally, but also in the responsibilities he used to carry for our family.
My husband is currently unemployed due to the ongoing crisis, and my other children are too young to work. We live in constant fear, not knowing if we will make it through the night. Even the most basic needs—food, medicine, safety—are beyond our reach. There are days when we can’t find bread to eat. Nights are filled with explosions, fear, and the cries of hungry children.
I write these words with a broken heart—not only because I lost my son, but because I fear losing the rest of my family to hunger, illness, or war.
That’s why I’m humbly asking for your help.
Any donation—no matter how small—can help us buy food, medicine, and basic supplies to get through this devastating time.

Hello to all you generous people! Reda messaged me that her daughter, Jana, has been very sick and she very much needs to take her to see a doctor but doesn’t have the money to do so. I think that if everyone reading this donated $25 and also shared Reda’s campaign with at least one person, we will be able to get her the money to get Jana to a doctor. Using your donations for the past week or so they have been able to rent a room in a safer part of Gaza, which is a huge relief to them after their relatives were killed in when their tent was bombed a few weeks ago. Thank you so much for all you have done and are doing for this family.
